What We Need:

We are looking for a Director of Product to lead our strategy mobile game franchise. The ideal candidate would have experience shipping top-grossing F2P mobile games in a product leadership role and is committed to the success of the game and the broader 2K mobile team.

What You Will Do:

  • Reporting to the VP and Head of Mobile, you will lead the direction for one or more mobile products in the Strategy/4X genre.
  • Work closely with development studios, 2K publishing teams, and executives to chart the product vision and publishing plans for these titles, build paths to launch, and optimize for a long life span of the games.
  • Be the owner of P&L and lead a product team to align the product roadmap with commercialization.
  • Establish a positive relationship with external development studios. Define the roles and responsibilities of key personnel in both parties. Empower ownership and creative solutions from both parties.
  • Define success metrics throughout different phases of the product. Conduct and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to gain insights into player behaviors. Drive effective solutions that improve the player experience and the metrics
  • Build Live Ops team and strategy with the development studios to ensure the product is able to support smooth, daily Live Ops. Set revenue targets and live ops calendar to increase the profitability of the product
  • Communicate market condition and project status to executives and build confidence to invest in the project and team

Who We Believe Will Be A Great Fit:

  • 5-8+ years of experience as a game product leader in free-to-play mobile games. Shipped at least 2+ Top-Grossing titles
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Feature Design and Free-to-Play Economies. Able to map features, systems, and player behaviors to commercial outcomes.
  • A good leader with excellent communication and presentation abilities. Experienced working with and influencing teams across different subject areas and levels - from designers, programmers, and producers, to finance and senior leadership.
  • Predictive modeling capability using Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools. Deep experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Self-starter who can self-prioritize tasks and remain productive with minimal direction
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative major
