You are a product forerunner responsible for understanding and maximizing games potential. You are carrying the game’s vision and coordinating a team of experts towards the delivery of the product and its operation through the live service.

The Product Manager is accountable for both the quality and the profitability of the games and making sure that the business case stays sound through their evolution. You must have great analytical, organizational and planning skills. You can deal with and keep track of multiple stakeholders with different backgrounds and different levels of seniority. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive with tough goals and you are driven by building things from the ground up. Finally, you can think long term and see the bigger picture.

To sum up, what will you be doing?

  • Working closely with Scouts to Identify promising new games and studios who would fit the 11 bit studios pillars and portfolio.
  • Preparing early project evaluation and taking potential new products through the Greenlight Process.
  • Collaborating closely with other Product Managers and Producers to deliver the best quality of the ongoing projects.
  • Preparing focustesting for projects and analyzing their results.
  • Understanding market segments and expectations of different groups of players and how our developed games resonate with those.
  • Being able to deliver quality market research reports.
  • Acting as the bridge and the interface between the product teams and 11 bit studios Production, Marketing and Bizdev.
  • Building and maintaining healthy relationships with both internal partners and external development partners.
  • Being responsible for the launch and post-release activities of those products alongside the development studio.
  • Representation of the project and its team to both internal and external partners and stakeholders, including presentations, reporting, etc.

Job requirements

What you must have in order to be able to do all of the above

  • Being the expert in indie games past and present - you know what is going on in our industry.
  • 5+ years of experience connected to the gamedev industry from business and development perspective (marketing, production, business development, journalism, community etc.).
  • True passion and interest for the gamedev industry.
  • Very good communication and organizational skills.
