About The Role

The People Support Partner is a resource to the team at 100 Thieves and will be an integral part of ensuring 100 Thieves is a great place to work. This role would perform Generalist functions and manage day-to-day People Operations in a fast paced and start-up environment. The right person for this role is someone who is passionate about people and has an eye for detail with exceptional follow through skills.

Requirements

  • This role is located in Los Angeles, CA and will require proximity to the company HQ in Culver City
  • Must have a high level of Emotional Intelligence
  • BA/BS degree is required
  • 3+ years of People/HR Operations experience. Preferably in the gaming industry
  • Minimum 2 year of benefits administration and payroll experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
  • Exposure to and basic understanding of local, state, and federal requirements applicable to payroll and benefits
  • Experience maintaining an HRIS tool
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent accuracy with your work
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment, taking initiative, executing on projects independently and being resourceful
  • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Google office suite

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and requests. Resolve issues in a timely and positive manner that is consistent with company policy, legal regulations, and 100 Thieves culture
  • Lead the on-boarding and off-boarding function my providing employees a positive experience and being a “go to” person for all of their questions
  • Administer employee healthcare benefit programs (i.e. medical, dental, vision, 401K plans) and ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory, reporting, and filing requirements
  • Proactively research and keep up to date on labor laws
  • Identify and make recommendations on how to improve the overall employee experience at 100 Thieves
  • Own payroll processing, including bi-monthly processing for all employees, maintaining accurate employee records in the payroll module
  • Administer the 401K plan, from day to day administration of participant changes to documentation and preparation of year-end close-out
  • Administer workers compensation, including resolving claims with insurance carriers
  • Collaborate with teammates to document and improve People Ops processes and workflows
  • Partner with the VP of People on various projects to assist in making 100 Thieves the employer of choice
